A fish pond can be a fascinating thing. The longer you look the more you see. Here's a chance to see more of our lives and for us to remember the things beneath the surface.

The Long Awaited Trip
Each year my husband's brother comes down from Washington for Christmas. He brings will him his two golden retrievers and they all spend a week at Grandma's house. All of my girls have been afraid of his dogs (unfortunately they get that from me). Last Christmas when Bud Boy first saw these dogs there was no fear. He loved them! He immediately wanted down to pet them. At one point during our visits we even found him resting his head on the dogs. This started his love for animals. Since that time I have looked forward to when we could take him to the Zoo. We recently took advantage of a final warm fall day(our favorite time of year to go). It was all we hoped for and more. We loved seeing so many baby animals and I think we were able to see every animal active and playful.
