For the 4th of July we have a tradition to spend it with extended family. About 4 in the morning my husband and some of the kids go down to save a spot for the big parade. As the morning goes on family members trickle in and we enjoy visiting, playing games and doing "pops" That evening we invite both sides of the family over for a BBQ and fireworks. We also usually go swimming sometime around the fourth and to the early morning balloon launch. I just love watching everyone interact. It's what holidays are for.
