Labor Day Weekend

It's the last official holiday of summer and we decided to enjoy it. It all started with my four year old running into the house, "Daddy's home and he has four-wheelers!"

Thanks to a friend at work lending us them, our adventure began. We hauled these up to some family land with the vehicles of my brother's family and my sister and her husband following behind. My parents later met us and we enjoyed an evening of camping, visiting, good food and of course four wheeling the next day.

I truly love seeing my youngest enjoying things for the first time.
His exclamation of, "I had fun, mom" was truly precious.

We returned home on Saturday in time to watch the first BYU game of the season.
GO BYU!

On Monday, we went miniature golfing. Well at least some of us did. For our youngest it's more like shuffle board.

He was also very helpful. After mom would hit the ball he would run and pick it up, "Here you go, mom". As you can guess I was above par a lot.

For our oldest, though, it was a whole different game. She and dad took turns getting hole in ones. Well just see if she is still that good when our youngest is her age.
